The YouTube Awards Are Back this year. This year is the second year of YouTube Awards and they expanded the awards to include five new categories, so it means 12 awards for a total in this year.
Last year's categories have been "Most Creative, Most Inspirational, Most Adorable, Best Comedy, Best Commentary, Best Series, and Best Music Video", included the 5 new categories will be given out this year "Short Films, Sports, Politics, Instructional, and Eyewitness".
The structure of the awards and the way voting works look a little different this year. Every time you refresh the page, the order of the categories and the featured thumbnail change in a random order so there can be no bias in the way the content is viewed or presented(The YouTube Blog).
Take a look at the YouTube Video Awards channel to get started watching and voting videos in categories defined under 07.
You can start to vote once per day without changing your vote on the same day. Voting goes to end on March 19, 2008 and winners will be announced 2 days later on March 21.
Youtube also considered a special invitation for winners to a YouTube event later this year.
