Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth, as measured by the height of its summit above sea level, which is 8,848 meters or 29,029 feet. The mountain, which is part of the Himalaya range in High Asia, is located on the border between Sagarmatha Zone, Nepal and China(read more).
Today Google is celebrating the first ascent of Mount Everest which was on 29 May 1953 by Sir Edmund Hillary(33 years old), NZ and Tenzing Norgay, NP, via the South Col Route.
